I am a Ukrainian artist based in Kyiv. I grew up always drawing, painting, and being fascinated with the world around. I try to explore many working methods, from abstraction to landscape and figurative. My interests at the time dictate the style of my work. I am compelled to paint abstract & realism. Loving both, my work has become a fusion of the two. I work in a spontaneous, intuitive and gestural way, where the unconscious takes up more space than the conscious. I do not seek to represent my environment, but rather to evoke an emotion. My paintings have evolved over many years, growing in their painterly sophistication as I have grown as a painter. For me, art goes beyond reality—I want my viewers to feel something, to experience the creativity flowing through my paintings.
